Abby frowned curiously as she saw Kate glance
furtively around the empty hallway. Then her jaw dropped when she saw Kate walk
into the Men’s Room. “What the hell?”
It wasn’t more than ten seconds later that Kate
exited the room, but by then, Abby was waiting for her, arms crossed over her
chest.
Kate stopped short on seeing her there and offered a
sickly smile. “Ah, hey Abs.”
“Something you want to tell me, Kate?” Abby smirked.
A blush chased across Kate’s face as she explained, “I told Tony that I’d been in a men’s room before.”
“Okaaay.”
“Well, I hadn’t.”
“So you decided that you did need to see the inside
of a men’s room?”
“Exactly. Well, one that wasn’t part of a crime
scene, anyhow.”
Abby quirked an eyebrow at her. “And people call me
weird.”
Making a face, Kate asked, “How much to keep you
quiet about this?”
A thought occurred to Abby and she grinned slowly.
Looking wary all of a sudden, Kate asked, “What?”
“You couldn’t have gotten a very detailed look,”
Abby replied.
“Abby…”
“I think you definitely need a longer look. And a
new experience.”
“Um, Abby? Honey, I don’t think now’s the time or
place to…”
“You’re the one that started it.”
“No, but see, Tony’s…”
“Kate?”
“Yeah?”
“Shut up and get in the Men’s Room.”
