#1 A Devil's Deal - In order to keep Serenity up and running, Mal makes a deal with Usher, but at what cost to his conscience?

WARNINGS - Consider all the following stories to have elements of non-con, some with actual rape some with emotional abuse, since Simon is, essentially, a slave to Usher and can't refuse anything if he wants to keep River safe. aside from that, there's bad language, violence of a general sort, mayhem and angst up the ying-yang. not a light read, but a fairly worthwhile one, in my own humble opinion.

#2 Safe - Usher isn't happy when Mal shows up to help save the station from an attack and even less pleased by Simon's reaction to the Captain.
#3 Losing the Battle - Sometimes, losing the battle is a good thing, as Zoe discovers. (HET warning, but it's so cuuuute! *grin*)
#4 Biding Time - Mal makes plans and bides his time.
#5 Broken Silence - Sometimes, the first step towards healing is breaking the silence.
#6 Settling In - Simon's having some trouble adjusting to life on board Serenity.
